Canucks roster cut - Ronalds Kenins assigned to the Utica Comets

NHL - Vancouver's General Manager Jim Benning announced that the Canucks have reduced their pre-season roster by eleven players. Also Ex-ZSC forward Ronalds Kenins did not survive the cut and has been assigned to the AHL.

As a consequence, the 23-year-old Latvian will have to start his first season overseas with Vancouver's AHL-affiliate, the Utica Comets. He got assigned to Utica, just like seven other players, among them also Vancouver's first-round pick from 2012, Brendan Gaunce.
