The 18-year-old defenseman was drafted by the Capitals 57th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He spent the majority of the last season playing with the Lions, scoring five assists in 59 appearances. Siegenthaler is scheduled to join the Capitals for their rookie camp, before he will rejoin the organisation that developed him for the upcoming season. (mso)

The Washington Capitals announce that they have signed the ZSC Lions' Jonas Siegenthaler to a three-year, entry-level contract. He will play on loan with the Lions for the 2015-16 season.
