Joel Vermin and Tanner Richard will both stay with the Tampa Bay Lightning and, therefore, not return to Switzerland. The two forwards have both signed a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Vermin (photo), who was drafted in 2013, left Switzerland at the end of the 2013-14 season to join the Lightning's AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch. Last season, the 24-year-old played 37 games for them, scoring nine goals and eleven assists. In addition, he played six NHL games.

Tanner Richard, on the other hand, who was drafted in 2012, has yet to play his first NHL game. Last season, the 23-year-old forward played 71 AHL games for the Syracuse Crunch and managed to put up eleven goals and 43 assists. (bsc)
