As EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy tells the Neue Luzerner Zeitung in an interview, young forward Calvin Thürkauf is expected to stay with the Kelowna Rockets (WHL) also for the upcoming season.

Thürkauf joined the Canadian junior team on loan from EVZ this summer after being selected 59th overall in the CHL Import Draft by the Rockets. In 36 games so far, the 18-year-old has scored eleven goals and 15 assists for Kelowna.

Kläy also reveals in the interview, that he is at the moment mostly taken up with building the squad of their new NLB team. As he explains, EVZ will be looking to sign around 15 players and fill up the rest of the roster with youngsters from the "Hockey Academy" to start their first NLB season. (lcu)
