Medical Report

MEDICAL REPORT - For a couple of days now, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Canadian forward Jeff Tambellini has resumed on-ice practice. However, a date for his return to action is not possible to be set, yet.

"Rotations in the torso area still hurt and I have to avoid contact," the 30-year-old explains in today's edition of La Liberté. Therefore, Tambellini has to stay patient: "I don't know the date of my return, yet. The nature of my injury makes any kind of medical assessment impossible. I have to take it on a day-to-day basis."

As the Freiburger Nachrichten adds, also Jérémy Kamerzin and Marc-Antoine Pouliot have returned to team practice yesterday. In contrast, forward Andrei Bykov has not yet been able to resume on-ice practice due to his neck-injury.
