Medical Report

mt_ignoreIn addition to Dick Axelsson and Lukas Sieber, who are both recovering from surgery, Dino Wieser suffered an injury in practice last week. Moreover, Félicien Du Bois left the ice injured in yesterday's pre-season game.

As Die Südostschweiz reports, Dino Wieser sustained a torn ligament and bone injuries in his ankle last week. But just like Dick Axelsson, who is recuperating from knee surgery, he should be ready for HC Davos' season opener on September 11 against HC Fribourg-Gottéron.

A question mark is behind Félicien Du Bois who left the ice with an undisclosed injury after 11 minutes of play in yesterday's pre-season game against Barys Astana. Also still out is Lukas Sieber. He had to undergo shoulder surgery. (tme)

UPDATE As Die Südostschweiz reports, Félicien Du Bois will be out with a torn collateral ligament in his right knee for four weeks. Forwards Perttu Lindgren (hip) and Tino Kessler (shoulder) will likely miss the same amount of time as Du Bois. Sieber, Wieser and Axelsson will probably also not be ready for the CHL games.
