Lausanne HC's Jonas Junland not as severely injured as feared
At today's press conference, Lausanne HC's team manager Jan Alston provided a medical update on the club's latest signing, Swedish defender Jonas Junland, who sustained an injury in the preparation game against Switzerland one month ago.
>"We have good news," Alston said. "We first feared torn ligaments, but as it turned out Jonas Junland is suffering only from a sprained knee." Therefore, the 28-year-old Swede is not expected to be sidelined for up to eight months, but for four to six weeks only. (rlu)
