GSHC's Daniel Vukovic broke his nose in last night's game

The 30-year-old defenseman had initiated a fight with the Grizzlys' Björn Krupp in the 26th minute of play. Krupp had driven Nick Spaling into the boards, which is why Vukovic went after him. However, in the end, Vukovic was left with a broken nose and both players were ejected from the game.

Thus, as Genève-Servette HC announced on Wednesday, Vukovic as well as Spaling will not be able to play against the Krefeld Pinguine at the EHCO Cup.(mso)
