RUMOR - As Aftonbladet reports, HV 71 has been working on replacing their defenseman Mattias Karlsson and apparently SC Bern's Marc-André Gragnani would be the first choice for the SHL team.

The 28-year-old defenseman already knows some players of HV 71's current squad, as he used to be teammates with them during his stint in the KHL with now defunct Lev Praha. According to the same source, Jönköping and him are close to a deal. However, there also appears to be interest from several KHL clubs.

The Canadian joined SC Bern last summer and scored 42 points (nine goals, 33 assists) in 60 games for the Bears, which made him the highest scoring defenseman of the 2014-15 season. His contract expired this spring. (mso)
