As he tells Örnsköldsviks Allehanda (relayed by Hockeysverige.se), he does not know how long he will have to wait to know for sure whether he will be able to continue to play in Switzerland, as "some teams down here can wait until free agency is over in the NHL to see who can get away from there."
There is, however, apparently interest from HC Davos in the forward. "One reason for suiting up for Davos during the Spengler Cup is because they are interested for next season. But it depends a bit on what they add and who they lose," Olofsson tells the same newspaper.
Olofsson has been playing in Switzerland for the past four seasons. This season, he appeared in 36 regular-season games, recording ten goals and eleven assists.
