GSHC's Robert Mayer close to contract extension?

According to the sources of the newspaper, Mayer and Genève-Servette HC will likely commit to a three-year contract. He thus would be signed through 2020. The 26-year-old goaltender is currently in his third season with the Grenats.

GSHC president Hugh Quennec had revealed on Thursday that several contracts extensions would be announced in the immediate future. However, he did not disclose which players those extensions would be issued to.
