According to Radio Fribourg Sport, forward Andrei Bykov has been offered a new contract by HC Fribourg-Gottéron.

According to the same source, the Dragons made this offer three weeks ago. Apparently, the 28-year-old forward has yet to make a decision. Bykov has played for Fribourg during his entire career thus far and appeared in his first NLA game for them during the 2005-06 season. Since then, he has suited up 463 times for the Dragons and put up 82 goals and 248 assists.

In addition, still according to the same source, HC Fribourg-Gottéron has started negotiating with their defenseman Yannick Rathgeb. The 21-year-old, who joined HCFG in summer of 2015, revealed at the beginning of the season that several other NLA teams would like to sign him. This season thus far, Rathgeb has played 13 games for the Dragons, putting up one goal and five assists.
