Two weeks ago, McNamara's contract as interim head coach of EHC Biel was extended until the international break in mid-December. With this deadline inching closer, the question about the 67-year-old's future in Biel arises once again.
The chances that McNamara will stay EHC Biel's head coach are quite good, as team manager Martin Steinegger confirms to the Journal du Jura (relayed by SwissHabs): "The signs are good for Mike McNamara," he says. "I'm satisfied with his work."
