HC Ambrì-Piotta's Jason Fuchs is also of interest to EHC Biel

With Luca Cunti and Jason Fuchs, two highly coveted centermen hit the market at the end of the season, one of whom could maybe be the replacement for Gaëtan Haas. Steinegger already had a first meeting with them in order to see where their heads are at. Not of interest to Biel is, however, Sandro Zangger.

In other news, according to Laurent Kleisl, EHC Biel is close to announcing a contract extension with Thomas Wellinger, whose deal expires in spring. The 28-year-old defenseman is currently in his third season with Biel and has scored one goal and seven assists in 28 games thus far.
