As the Luzerner Zeitung reports, EV Zug's offence for the upcoming season is more or less set. One spot remains for their young Swiss forwards, but it is not yet clear who will fill it as of next season.

Zug has produced a plethora of talents in the last years, one of them being the Kelowna Rockets' Calvin Thürkauf (photo). Reto Kläy hopes that the Columbus Blue Jackets, who recently signed the captain of the U20 national team to an entry-level deal, will send the forward back to Zug for a year.

Should this not happen, Zug would still have the option of center Yannick Zehnder, 19, who has been solid for their NLB team (15 points in 18 games) and had a good showing at this year's World Juniors. Furthermore, Fabio Arnold, the captain of their NLB team, is also a candidate for the open position. The same applies to Fabian Haberstich, who joined Zug's organisation this past season from the SCL Tigers.

It remains to be seen, who will gain the chance to be a regular in the Bulls' lineup as of next season. It will, of course, also depend on the direction Zug will take regarding their three remaining import-player spots. Two youngsters will, however, definitely be integrated into the roster as of next season: defensemen Tobias Fohrler and Tobias Geisser.
