"It is true that a decision will be made in the upcoming days and that Reto Berra will return to Switzerland next season," his agent Andé Rufener confirmed to the same source. According to Zaugg, Berra can now decide between two teams: Lausanne HC and HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Both teams have supposedly offered him a contract.

However, as André Rufener tells Pierre Schouwey (La Liberté), while he has been in contact with the Dragons' team manager Christian Dubé, Dubé has "not yet made an offer" for the Swiss netminder.

Berra, who was traded to the Florida Panthers last summer, was sent to their AHL affiliate before the start of the season. The 30-year-old has played 24 games for the Springfield Thunderbirds so far, posting a .913 SV%.
