HC Lugano in talks with forward Dominic Zwerger

The 20-year-old forward played for the Everett Silvertips (WHL) this past season, scoring 32 goals and 58 assists in 77 games. Zwerger is in possession of a Swiss player's license as he played for the junior teams of Rheintal, Herisau, and HC Davos before he left for North America in 2013.

Apparently, HC Ambrì-Piotta also had shown interest in the Austrian. According to Marco Maffioletti (La Regione), HCAP sent a delegation over to Everett this past November in order to convince Zwerger to sign with the Biancoblù for the upcoming season.
