Le Matin reported earlier this afternoon that Holøs had already signed with the Dragons. Dubé, however, denied this rumor. Holøs, the captain of the Norwegian national team, played for Färjestad BK of the SHL in the past two seasons. In April, RSI reported that HC Lugano was interested in the 29-year-old defenseman. However, according to Le Matin, EHC Kloten and HC Ambrì-Piotta had also cast an eye on him.

This past season, Holøs, who already considered playing in Switzerland two years ago, appeared in 58 games for Färjestad and managed to score 20 points (nine goals, eleven assists).
