Heinen is a product of EHC Visp and went through their junior system up until the U17 level. He then joined HC Davos' organization. Heinen was also loaned to Visp last season, so he is already familiar with the club as it is today. This season, he appeared in 17 games with HCD.
As for Alexander Zalewski, the 35-year-old has decided to sign an early contract extension with the Swiss League team. The goaltending and video coach will thus stay until the end of the 2024-25 season.
