The 24-year-old goaltender will thus leave the Mice after just one season with them. However, as Ryser writes, the Ajoulots do not want to confirm this signing at the moment to not cause a disturbance in their team.
This season, Nyffeler played 17 regular-season games for the Mice, posting a .919 save percentage. In the playoffs, he appeared in three games (.888 save percentage).
