During the first international break in mid-November, Austria will participate in the Deutschland Cup. For the tournament, Roger Bader has selected nine players that suit up in Switzerland, including Vinzenz Rohrer, one of two players who will debut with the Austrian national team.
The other eight players called up by Bader are defenders Stefan Müller (EHC Visp), Ramon Schnetzer (HC Thurgau), Bernd Wolf (HC Lugano) and Kilian Zündel (HC Ambrì-Piotta, but momentarily on loan to the Vienna Capitals), and forwards Oliver Achermann (HC La Chaux-de-Fonds), Benjamin Baumgartner (SC Bern), Patrick Obrist (EHC Kloten), and Dominic Zwerger (HC Ambrì-Piotta).
