"He has agreed on terms with us, now we're just waiting for his signature", Chris McSorley confirmed in an interview with the "Tribune de Genève". McSorley hopes that he can announce soon that Matt Lombardi signed a contract with his team. Lombardi would be Genève-Servette's third import-player in addition to Alexandre Picard and Lennart Petrell.

The 31yr-old Canadian recently played in the NHL for the Anaheim Ducks and the Phoenix Coyotes. In his career he completed a total of 576 NHL-games in which he scored 104 goals and 174 assists.
