The 26-year-old forward was courted by many teams due to his impressive offensive numbers, but ultimately decided to sign a contract in the National League A with SC Bern.
The Canadian joins the Bears from Skellefteå AIK in the Swedish Hockey League, where he played for the last three seasons, scoring 193 points (68 goals, 125 assists) in 168 games for the team during this time.
This season, Bud Holloway scored 41 points in 64 games for Skellefteå AIK in their run for the 2014 SHL Championship titel. His contract with SC Bern is valid until the end of the 2015/16 season.
