According to Aftonbladet, AIK, Brynäs, Linköping and Kevin Fiala's HV71 were all interested in the services of the former NHL defenseman. However, the 35-year-old has turned down their offers and won't return to his country of birth. Instead, he reportedly has signed a contract with the ZSC Lions for the remainder of the season.

The 35-year-old has an experience of more than 700 NHL games with the Buffalo Sabres and the New Jersey Devils. Without a contract, he recently played with AHL's Hartford Wolfpack on a try-out basis.

UPDATE The ZSC Lions have confirmed the signing of the 35-year-old defenseman Henrik Tallinder until the end of the season. He has arrived in Zurich yesterday and will wear number 10 for the Lions. - 29 December 2014, 2:05 PM
