After complaints on behalf of the SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects) about the non-public call for project, HC Ambrì-Piotta and the "Valascia Immobiliare SA" have finally agreed to grant a public project competition. As a consequence, the completion of the Biancoblù's new home will be further delayed and is projected to be ready for the 2018-19 season.
As a reminder, the League has demanded from HC Ambrì-Piotta to build their new arena until 2018 at the latest. Otherwise, the club is going to lose their license to play in the National League A. (rlu)
