Sheppard has an overall experience of 431 games in the NHL with the Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks and most recently the New York Rangers, in which he was able to put up a total of 100 points (26 goals, 74 assists).
The native of Lower Sackville (NS, CAN) is expected to arrive in Kloten on Monday next week. When Sheppard will finally be eligible to hit the ice in the colors of his new team is not yet known, as there is still some paperwork to be done first. (rlu)
