Vauclair, whose current deal expires after this season, has played most of his career with HC Lugano since making his NLA debut during the 1997-98 season. In 732 NLA games for the Bianconeri, the 36-year-old has scored 96 goals and 160 assists.
Between 2001 and 2004, the former third round pick of the Ottawa Senators made a stint overseas, playing 236 games in the AHL and also appeared in one NHL game for the Senators. (lcu)
