SC Bern's head coach Guy Boucher will leave the capital city at the end of the season. The 44-year-old has informed the club that he is planning to return to Canada due to familial reasons.

"The decision to return to North America at the end of the season is a big relief for me," Boucher says in a press release. "It has been a process within my family over a couple of months. The decision has nothing to do with SCB, where I feel very comfortable, nor with other professional perspectives."

Guy Boucher joined SC Bern at the beginning of the 2013-14 season and also coached the Team Canada at last year's Spengler Cup. (tme)
