According to an information from the Finnish website Jatkoaika, current Finnish national coach Kari Jalonen is going to be SC Bern's new head coach as of next season.
Jalonen will thus replace current head coach Lars Leuenberger. The 56-year-old Finn is currently in his second season as Finland's national coach. Before that, he had been coaching in the Kontinental Hockey League for three seasons (Torpedo Nizhni Novgorod, Lev Praha). (tme)
UPDATE SC Bern's CEO Marc Lüthi denies in his column on SCB's website that they have already made a decision regarding the head coach of the team for next season. However, he admits that there are several candidates, including Leuenberger.
