The 17-year-old netminder joins HC Red Ice as part of the partnership between the Grenats and Red Ice. He mostly played the last two seasons for Genève-Servette HC's Elite A team and was team Switzerland's starting goaltender for the 2014 IIHF World U18 Championship.
Gauthier Descloux has posted a 2.39 GAA and a 0.911 save percentage in 21 games for GSHC's Elite A team this season. He will stay with HC Red Ice at least until the end of the 2014/15 season.
