That there have been no contract talks between the SCL Tigers and their coach Bengt-Åke Gustafsson is certainly "no sign of confidence" for the Berner Zeitung. If the Tigers won't accomplish the promotion to the NLA, he might have to leave if only for financial reasons.
Even a change in coaching staff before or during the playoffs cannot be completely ruled out. Still according to the same source, there is doubt also within the club if Gustafsson is still right for the job. The only adequate alternative on the market, the Berner Zeitung writes, would be former Gottéron-coach Hans Kossmann. (tme)
