In an interview with La Regione, the 25-year-old defenseman denies those rumors though: "Playing in the NLA is obviously my goal, but now I have a valid contract with Olten that will expire next year. So the choice is not up to me. So far I have not been contacted by Ambrì or by my current employer about a possible transfer. I thus cannot say anything."
However, Olten's team manager Köbi Kölliker would at least be willing to listen, if the Biancoblù came knocking on his door: "Fabian is a fundamental player for us. We have great ambitions and we want to aim for promotion, letting him go would not be the evident choice. (...) So far Ambrì didn't contact us in that regard. If they were interested in the player, we would have to discuss the conditions. Maybe one could even make an exchange."
Fabian Ganz would start in his fourth season for EHC Olten in September. Last season, he scored twelve goals and 23 assists in 50 games. (mso)
