As Jérémy Gailland tells Le Nouvelliste, HC Red Ice will not extend his contract. However, the 28-year-old forward has already received several offers from first league teams for the upcoming season.

Le Nouvelliste, following up news which were first put out by Rhône FM this morning, writes that while Gailland has offers from Villars, Sion and Sierre, he was less than happy with the way Martigny treated him when it came down to contract discussions: "At the end of the season I had a talk with the president. He told me that he is counting on me. They told me to make an offer. Since then I have not heard anything from them."

Gailland is thus now searching for a team and wants to stay in the area. He does not exclude, however, that his new contract could also contain an out-clause for the NLB. Gailland scored seven goals and 13 assists in 43 games for Red Ice this past season. (mso)
