Anton Gustafsson leaves HC Fribourg-Gottéron with immediate effect

As HC Fribourg-Gottéron announced after Friday's 5-3 loss to EHC Biel, Anton Gustafsson will no longer be part of the club.

The 26-year-old center leaves the Dragons due to personal reasons with immediate effect. The Swede, who joined HCFG as of this season, will return to Sweden. His contract with Fribourg would have been valid until the end of the 2017-18 season.

Gustafsson played in Switzerland for the last four seasons, three of which as part of the SCL Tigers organisation. This season, he has scored two goals and three assists in 24 games for the Dragons.
