HC Ambrì-Piotta and defenseman Jesse Zgraggen have agreed on a two-year-contract extension. The 22-year-old Swiss Canadian will thus stay in the Leventina until the end of the 2017-18 season.

Before joining Ambrì in 2014, the 22-year-old defenseman played four seasons in the WHL of the Canadian Hockey League. His current contract is expiring at the end of this season.

Zgraggen is currently in his second year with the Biancobù and has appeared in 69 NLA games for them so far, scoring eleven points (one goal, ten assists). (bsc)
