According to a report from La Regione, forward Juraj Simek has extended his contract with Genève-Servette HC for another two years. Moreover, also Jim Slater will in all likelihood stay with the Grenats.

The 28-year-old Simek joined Genève-Servette HC at the end of October after he had not found a new team throughout the summer. He had already played for Geneva from 2011 until 2014. Since returning to the Grenats, he put up 17 points (seven goals, ten assists) in 41 appearances.

Moreover, as the Tribune de Genève writes, all signs point to Jim Slater staying in Geneva for at least another season. Tom Pyatt, on the other hand, apparently has offers from NHL teams and will return to North America. (tme)
