Bergeron, 35, had been part of the Lions since 2013 and appeared in 165 games for them, scoring 21 goals and 73 assists. Just like the Canadian, forward Ryan Keller joined ZSC in 2013, after having spent a season with Genève-Servette HC. In 161 games for them, he put up 93 points. He announced his retirement in July.

As for Dan Fritsche, he had to sit out the entire last season due to concussion issues. He too has been part of the Lions since the 2013-14 season, joining them from HC Lugano in November. In 89 games, he scored 17 goals and 21 assists. (mso)
