The two youngsters joined EHC Winterthur from the Kloten Flyers last summer as part of their partnership agreement. Since then, Steinauer has appeared in 33 games (three goals, nine assists), whereas Studer was able to put up eleven points (three goals, eight assists) in a total of 25 appearences so far. (rlu)

Joel Steinauer and Thomas Studer will stay with EHC Winterthur for another year
EHC Winterthur has extended the contracts with their 20-year-old defenseman Joel Steinauer (photo) and 21-year-old forward Thomas Studer for an additional year, until the end of the 2016-17 season.
