22-year-old defenseman, who last played for the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, has decided to return to Switzerland with immediate effect and continue his career with SC Bern.
The Swede with a Swiss license appeared in a total of 54 NLA games (six goals, 17 assists) during the 2014-15 season on loan with EV Zug and HC Lugano. The New York Rangers’ fourth round pick in 2012 will take up practice with SC Bern on Thursday.
