He has made a decision. Michael Fora has signed a new contract with HC Ambrì-Piotta and will stay in the Leventina for two additional seasons.

However, his new contract includes an NHL out-clause. Thus, the 21-year-old defenseman could leave Switzerland and play in North America. In case of a return, his contract in Ambrì would be valid, though.

Fora is currently in his second season with the Biancloblù after having returned from North America at the beginning of the 2015-16 season. This term thus far, he has played 32 NLA games for the Biancoblù, putting up one goal and six assists.
