"What? You think I'm too green for this job?", an angry Kermit shouted at our reporter, who dared to ask him what qualified him for the job as Swiss national coach. A bit more polite acted the Cookie Monster, who thought its main qualification is his hearty appetite for cookie-shaped medals ("Nom nom!" - in his own words).
As for Don Cherry - he's just sick of being interrupted in his long and highly enlightening commentary by his "Coach's corner" co-host Ron MacLean. If someone dares to interrupt him, he would at least want them to do some push-ups - a power he would have over the players by coaching again.
Now, joke aside: Of course, Ron Wilson is not in talks with the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation, as we reported earlier on - at least not that anyone would know of. Our source, the Toronto Herald, as many of you might have guessed, does not really exist.
Thus we want to apologize if we misled you (yeah, right...) and are truly sorry (not really....) if we stirred some unsubstantiated hopes with regard to the new Swiss national coach.
