Last week, the KHL's press office reported Drew Shore's signing with the Chinese KHL-team. Today, the Lions informed about a contract termination with the forward, effective immediately, as the US-American issued the wish for a change due to an unsatisfactory situation. They also state that he will join Red Star for the remainder of the season.

Shore, 27, was part of the ZSC for one and a half years. He suited up 52 times for them, recording nine goals and 24 assists. The season prior to joining Zurich, he played for EHC Kloten, put up 24 goals and 27 assists in 53 games and got a chance to play for the NHL's Vancouver Canucks at the end of the season, where he made 14 appearances.
