Future of Lakers' Jeff Tomlinson not yet clear

Tomlinson's contract will expire in spring and the two parties are in talks, but, according to Bütler, their focus lies on "achieving our goal of staying in the National League."

As for Tomlinson, his first choice would be to stay with the Lakers but he knows that it is ultimately not up to him: "Life is not always a bowl of cherries." The 48-year-old Canadian has been with the Lakers since 2015.
