«We are happy to have such an experienced defenseman in our squad»
Martin Steinegger

Martin Steinegger, general manager of EHC Biel, comments the signing: "Stefan Ulmer is a mobile defender. He can skate out of the defense zone with the puck, but can also trigger attacks with precise passes. We are happy to have such an experienced defenseman in our squad in the future."

Ulmer played 430 National League games, in which he scored 29 goals and put up 92 assists. He also regularly plays with the Austrian national team.
