The forward will stay on the shores of Lake Geneva for two more years, until 2021.

The 30-year-old forward returned to Genève-Servette HC last summer after having played a season for EV Zug. This season, Kast also suited up as defender from time to time as GSHC was dealing with a lot of injuries on the backend.

Kast suited up in 51 games for the Grenats this season, recording five goals and eleven assists. On average, he was on the ice for 14:58 minutes this regular season.
