With HC Davos' coaching staff now more or less in place, they can now focus on the player acquisition.

Anton Rödin off to Sweden?

Asked whether Anton Rödin or Tomáš Kundrátek would stay with Davos, newly appointed head coach Christian Wohlwend had only this to say to the Südostschweiz: "As it looks, we're trying to recruit two new import players." Magnus Nygren and Perttu Lindgren still have contracts in place for the 2019-20 season.

Rödin, for his part, has been brought into connection with Brynäs IF since the end of January, when Aftonbladet reported that there are talks about a five-year contract with the SHL team. Brynäs' team manager Michael Sundlöv told hockeysverige.se two days ago that they are indeed in talks with the forward and hope to find a solution with him.

As for the coaching side, Davos has found their new head coach with Wohlwend and assistant coach, who will be responsible for the defense, in Waltteri Immonen. As Gaudenz Domenig tells the Südostschweiz, they are also looking to add another assistant coach, who will support Wohlwend in the offensive area. They have several candidates and hope to make a decision by the end of May.
