Coming over from the KHL, the US-American signed a two-year deal, whereas the youngster will remain for one more year.

A member of Jokerit Helsinki for the last two and a half seasons, Steve Moses will join the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers until 2022. "Steve Moses is an explosive goal scorer. His speed and his intensity combined with his great finishing skills will help the SCRJ Lakers to reach the next level," team manager Janick Steinmann comments the signing.

The 30-year-old brings the experience of five seasons in the KHL (for Helsinki and SKA St. Petersburg) as well as two years in the Liiga (Helsinki) and some stops in the AHL (Connecticut Whale, Milwaukee Admirals and Rochester Americans). In his last two seasons with Jokerit, Moses 22 goals and 36 assists in 108 games.

The Lakers also announced the extension of Nando Eggenberger's contract for one year, making use of the option in the deal. The 20-year-old joined the team in December from HC Davos. Since then, he has suited up 19 times, recording one goal.
