Raphael Diaz has signed a four-year deal with the Dragons. Ryan Gunderson, Gaétan Jobin, Nathan Marchon, and Pavel Rosa stay.

A dragon for the next four seasons: Raphael Diaz.

It had already been reported by several news outlets, now it is confirmed: Raphael Diaz, the current captain of EV Zug, will join HC Fribourg-Gottéron on a four-year contract as of next season. As he explains to Patrick Rohr of MySports, he was not able to agree with EVZ on a contract extension:

Moreover, Fribourg has extended the contract with their American defenseman Ryan Gunderson, 35, for another season (until 2022). His fellow defenseman Gaétan Jobin, 19, as well as forward Nathan Marchon, 23, have inked new two-year deals (until 2023).

In addition, it is also clear that head coach Christian Dubé can count on his assistant coach Pavel Rosa at least until 2023. The 43-year-old has extended his current deal, which is valid until 2022, prematurely for another year.
