"I don't hide that I contacted McSorley during the Christmas period, but I wanted to understand if his intentions were to go to Bern," Hnat Domenichelli explains. An option, which is now now longer on the table as SC Bern has decided to go with Raeto Raffainer as Chief Sport Officer.
Now, McSorley at least seems to be an option in Lugano for next season. The contract of head coach Serge Pelletier is running out: "The contract is one year and it is inevitable that there are talks," Domenichelli says to the same source. "We are currently making evaluations and a decision will be taken at the end of the season."
Him being in contact with McSorley, however, does not have to mean anything, Domenichelli insists: "If I talk to someone it doesn't mean that every time I have concluded a negotiation."
