While Léchenne himself seems to prefer focusing on the role as HC Ajoie's team manager, according to Le Matin, the club's leadership apparently has other plans and already started screening the market for a possible replacement for the said position.
Regarding the upcoming season, HC Ajoie currently has 13 players on their roster with ongoing contracts. With Eigenmann, Fortier, Huber, Joggi, Macquat, Rohrbach, Schnegg, and Wännström, eight players are in possession of expiring contracts.
Both head coach Gary Sheehan and Vincent Léchenne recently extended their contracts for two more years until 2024. "I enjoy being in the technical direction as much as working with Gary in a more tactical role," Léchenne told the Quotidien Jurassien one week ago.
